Terms of Service
Last updated: July 28, 2026
These terms govern your use of magentoinfo.com (the “site”), operated by MagentoInfo Corp (“MagentoInfo Corp”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a Canadian corporation. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These terms cover the website only. Client work is governed by the separate written agreement, statement of work, or proposal signed for that engagement. Where those documents conflict with this page, those documents govern.
1. What this site is
This site describes the services MagentoInfo Corp offers and publishes articles about eCommerce technology. It is informational. Nothing on it is an offer to enter a contract, and submitting the contact form does not create a client relationship. A relationship begins only when we both sign an engagement document.
2. Not professional advice
Articles, guides, and technical opinions on this site are general information. They are not technical, legal, financial, or compliance advice for your specific situation, and should not be relied on as a substitute for an assessment of your own systems. Platform behaviour, pricing, and vendor capabilities change; content accurate when published may not be accurate when you read it.
3. Intellectual property
The site and its contents, including text, articles, layout, design, graphics, and logos, are owned by MagentoInfo Corp or used with permission, and are protected by Canadian and international copyright and trade-mark law.
You may:
- View, download, and print pages for your own internal or personal reference.
- Quote short extracts of our articles with clear attribution and a link back to the original page.
You may not, without our written permission:
- Republish our content in whole or in substantial part, on any medium.
- Sell, license, or redistribute our content.
- Use our name, logo, or brand in a way that suggests endorsement, affiliation, or partnership that does not exist.
- Systematically scrape or harvest the site, or use it to build or train a commercial dataset or model, without our written permission.
Third-party names on this site, including Adobe Commerce, Magento, and Shopify, belong to their respective owners. We reference them to describe the platforms we work with. We are an independent service provider and are not claiming to speak for those companies.
4. Acceptable use
When using this site, do not:
- Break any applicable law, or infringe anyone’s rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its API, its infrastructure, or any connected system.
- Probe, scan, or test the security of the site without our prior written permission. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please report it to info@magentoinfo.com rather than exploiting it. We will not pursue action against good-faith research that is reported responsibly and does not degrade the service or access other people’s data.
- Interfere with the site’s operation, including by overloading it or circumventing rate limits.
- Use the contact form to send spam, bulk messages, malware, or anything unlawful.
- Misrepresent who you are when contacting us.
5. What you send us
When you submit the contact form or email us, you confirm the information is accurate and that you may share it. Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Please do not send confidential material, credentials, or sensitive personal information through the contact form. It is a general inquiry channel, not a secure one. If you need to share something sensitive, tell us and we will arrange a secure method. If you send us an idea or suggestion unprompted, we may use it without obligation, though we will never disclose confidential information you shared under a signed agreement.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the site available and current, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of it, including removing or revising articles, without notice.
7. Links to other sites
Where we link to another organisation’s site, we do so for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices, or accessibility. A link is not an endorsement.
8. Disclaimer
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components, or that the information on it is complete or current.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MagentoInfo Corp and its directors, officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use this site, even if we were advised such damages were possible.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify MagentoInfo Corp against claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.
11. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Accessibility commitments are set out in our Accessibility Statement.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date above shows when. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. For material changes we will make the update visible on this page rather than changing it quietly.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect our intellectual property. If you are a consumer, this does not remove any mandatory protection you have under the law of your own country.
14. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. Together with the Privacy Policy, these terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of this site.
